5minCorrect spelling: check in/check out vs. checkin/checkoutVarious components in FOLIO spell these values in different ways. These differences cause conflicts when components need to work together. We need to standardize on a single convention to avoid these conflicts.Decision: One word strings or two.

Notes

  1. Housekeeping:  We will have enough people around to meet on both 11/19 and 11/26.  There will be no meeting on 11/22.
  2. Checkin/checkout: Terminology.  As a group, we would prefer loan/return to differentiate from serials check in.  However, we understand that this may not be possible.  Our second choice is checkin/checkout as one word.
  3. Loan Rules Editor continued:  Sean showed us another variation on how the loan rules editor could work using real data.   R could stand for “Requests” and include recalls, holds, paging, etc.  Each would still need a different policy.  It will be complicated to set up initially, regardless of how we do it.  The group strongly feels the need to test and debug as we go along.  Sean will take our input back to his group.
