Updates from Various Reporting Related Groups and Efforts

Project updates

The Reporting SIG is using small working groups to address priorities and complete our work.  Each week, we will provide updates to the Reporting SIG from these various reporting-related groups and efforts. Please include updates on specific JIRA issues for prototype or query development workflow.

Community & Coordination: 

  • reminder: Please make sure your institution has a Reporting Representative listed on the Reporting Survey

  • Webinar on LDP (NN) - Thursday August 27, 11am ET

FOLIO Reporting development

  • Suggest using a query "short name" as prefix in table names within the (shared workspace) local schema (NN)

  • Prioritization of working group activities (NN)

    • Action: each working group to identify derived tables needed in local schema for factoring and bring to next Reporting SIG meeting

    • Priority 

Reporting Data Privacy Working Group:

  • working group on haitus while GDPR compliance fields are getting implemented in LDP

RA/UM Working Group

MM Working Group

  • Group is making a concerted effort to work on prototypes outside of meetings. Will be ready to shift each of those prototypes to the query phase ASAP

  • In the final stages of completing the Hathi External Holdings query. Christie has run query against U Chicago's data and it produced what seems to be correct data.

  • As soon as Hathi query is completed, group will shift to one of the other completed prototypes.
