Updates from Various Reporting Related Groups and Efforts

Community & Coordination, Reporting Subgroup Leads

Project updates

The Reporting SIG is using small working groups to address priorities and complete our work.  Each week, we will provide updates to the Reporting SIG from these various reporting-related groups and efforts. Please include updates on specific JIRA issues for prototype or query development workflow. Do we need to create any additional JIRA tickets?

Community & Coordination:

  • call for Test Data Developer brought to Product Council and added to the Technical Skills in Demand page in the Technical Council wiki pages

    • "Reporting developers and Reporting SIG members are deep into creating report capabilities  in all functional areas that institutions will need to prepare for their FOLIO implementations.  We have a critical need for a Test Data Developer to assist the reporting community with curating and generating test data for our development environment, so that report writers can test their queries with substantial data sets.  Ideally the Test Data Developer would be available 20 hours per week.  Experience with Java or Go would be helpful."

  • Data Privacy Workgroup

    • group input on anonymization requirements for GDPR compliance of the FOLIO profile of LDP

Software development:

  • FOLIO app under development to support reporting capabilities

Query development:

RA/UM Working Group

  • RA-Requests Cluster prototype is done and query is in development

MM Working Group

  • HathiTrust query is complete

RM Working Group

ERM Working Group

External Statistics Working Group
