About Meetings during COVID-19

Sharon

About Meetings during COVID-19:

Given that we all need to have time and energy to adjust to this new reality, Reporting SIG meeting attendance will be optional for the next few weeks. We will continue to offer the meetings as a form of support. Small group coordinators are encouraged to work with their teams to determine what is best for the time being. During our Reporting SIG meetings, participants may offer light status reports on activities, and no major decisions impacting our work will be made during this time. We plan to return to our normal meeting routine after April 14, but we realize that it is difficult to predict the impact of the pandemic over the coming weeks. We may need to change plans again.

Updates from Various Reporting Related Groups and Efforts

Community & Coordination, Reporting Subgroup Leads

Project updates

The Reporting SIG is using small working groups to address priorities and complete our work.  Each week, we will provide updates to the Reporting SIG from these various reporting-related groups and efforts.

  • Community & Coordination:

    • mostly discussed reorganizing the wiki

  • Development:

    • LDP updated with new table name schema

    • Queries updated with new table names, a few other changes

  • RA/UM Working Group:

    • Worked on RA reports for Hbz (met with @Ingolf Kuss  to understand report data elements); after some more meetings with SMEs this week, we will have enough information to prototype a majority of the reports.

  • MM Working Group:

    • Last week's meeting was cancelled, but work is still continuing on all MM clusters.

    • Will need to meet with those working on these reports to get a full update.

  • RM Working Group:

    • discussed how to use several RM attributes in report design, such as Method of Acquisition, Reporting Codes, Statistical Codes and Withdrawals

    • working on how to do retrospective counts to show you if items are really new or just recently barcoded

    • UXPROD-2254 RM-Count Cluster prototype in progress; working with MM SIG

    • UXPROD-2255 RM-Costs Cluster prototype will be reviewed by RM SIG

  • ERM Working Group:

New Slack Channels for Working Groups

We have created Slack channels for the new Working Groups, in case they wish to use them for their own intra-WG discussion:

  • #reporting-mm-wg

  • #reporting-ra-um-wg

  • #reporting-rm-erm-wg
