About Meetings during COVID-19

Sharon

About Meetings during COVID-19:

Given that we all need to have time and energy to adjust to this new reality, Reporting SIG meeting attendance will be optional for the next few weeks. We will continue to offer the meetings as a form of support. Small group coordinators are encouraged to work with their teams to determine what is best for the time being. During our Reporting SIG meetings, participants may offer light status reports on activities, and no major decisions impacting our work will be made during this time. We plan to return to our normal meeting routine after April 14, but we realize that it is difficult to predict the impact of the pandemic over the coming weeks. We may need to change plans again.

Updates from Various Reporting Related Groups and Efforts

Community & Coordination, Reporting Subgroup Leads

Project updates

The Reporting SIG is using small working groups to address priorities and complete our work.  Each week, we will provide updates to the Reporting SIG from these various reporting-related groups and efforts.

  • Community & Coordination:

    • Angela working on spreadsheet to gather API documentation for Folio Attributes for easier prototyping.

    • discussing entity diagrams soon

  • RA/UM Working Group: @Clint Bellangeris done with his query, we are reviewing the Serials Use prototype, and waiting for feedback on the Claimed Returned prototype, so we can proceed with the query.

  • MM Working Group:

  • RM Working Group:

    • 4 new RM report clusters: invoice, collection development, rollover, donor

    • UXPROD-2254 RM-Count Cluster is prototype and query are in progress; reviewed reports to determine what kind of count to use for this cluster; will see MM SIG about this

    • UXPROD-2255 RM-Costs Cluster prototype will be reviewed by RM SIG, query in progress

  • ERM Working Group:

FOLIO RAML Parser

Check out Angela's new FOLIO RAML Parser, which will help us locate FOLIO data attributes quickly for our report prototypes:

  • try adding a filter view for yourself to find particular areas of data attributes, such as inventory

New Slack Channels for Working Groups

We have created Slack channels for the new Working Groups, in case they wish to use them for their own intra-WG discussion:

  • #reporting-mm-wg

  • #reporting-ra-um-wg

  • #reporting-rm-erm-wg
