Updates from Various Reporting Related Groups and Efforts

Community & Coordination, Reporting Subgroup Leads

Project updates

The Reporting SIG is using small working groups to address priorities and complete our work.  Each week, we will provide updates to the Reporting SIG from these various reporting-related groups and efforts.

  • Community & Coordination:

    • preparing for the deployment of LDP table name changes; more on this at next week's Reporting SIG meeting

    • discussed doing a spring cleaning on the Reporting SIG wiki; Sharon to take a first crack at this

  • RA/UM Working Group: @Clint Bellangeris almost done with his circulation query (UXPROD-1915), and will do a pull request early this week. @Cheryl Malmborg is aiming to complete the fees/fines cluster (UXPROD-2023) early in the week of the 16th, @Elena OMalley reviewed the Claimed Returned Cluster prototype (UXPROD-2020), for which @Vandana Shah  is developing the query, and will do a pull request for it by the middle of this week. Natalya Pikulik has started developing the Serials Use Cluster prototype (UXPROD-2031).

  • MM Working Group:

  • RM/ERM Working Group:

    • group will split into RM and ERM working groups starting this week, Scott and Sharon to coordinate both groups initially

    • 4 new RM report clusters: invoice, collection development, rollover, donor

    • UXPROD-2254 RM-Count Cluster is based on REP-61 and prototype (3/17) and query are in progress (3/24)

    • UXPROD-2255 RM-Costs Cluster prototype (LDPQURY-18) is almost done (3/10), query (LDP?) will be started this week (3/24)

    • ERM highest priority reports are Access Statistics and Cost Per Use

New Slack Channels for Working Groups

We have created Slack channels for the new Working Groups, in case they wish to use them for their own intra-WG discussion:

  • #reporting-mm-wg

  • #reporting-ra-um-wg

  • #reporting-rm-erm-wg

Time to Rank your Reporting Clusters

All

Reminder: The MVP project managers are interested in getting all the MVP tickets ranked by each institution. If your institution has still not ranked the reporting clusters, please urge them to do so soon. We need this for both MVP and prioritization for what reports to build next within the Reporting SIG. Thank you!

  • In Jira reports are REP, then they become grouped as Clusters, then UXPROD (rank these)

  • You can find all the report clusters in JIRA by searching on the report-cluster label

  • If you're not comfortable in JIRA, feel free to ask Sharon for a report cluster list
