• Update on integration with User Management SIG

  • It was agreed that there should be communication between our SIG and the UM SIG because issues do overlap and need input from all sides.  The security key is a good example of this.  Karen Newbery ( Duke) is on the UM SIG and she’s agreed to communicate with me/us when something touching on RA turns up in their discussions.   Someone from Cornell will take the opposite role (TBA).

• Update from OLE / FOLIO meeting

  • The Product Council will now have representatives from Index Data and EBSCO for more integration and a communications loop.  More SIGS are being planned, such as Internationalization and Accessibility. 

  • Day 1 of the meeting was with a marketing firm (Mellon supported) to discuss branding and marketing to new partners. 

  • Product Council and SIG conveners met with Index Data and EBSCO and a “minimum viable product” was discussed.  Andrea will share this when it is available for SIGS.

We were all very impressed with the work done here.  We will have 3 documents (MVP, The Requirements Grid and this) and we discussed how to best integrate/map these to ensure that all our issues are addressed with no holes.  We also need to assign priorities by institution.
