  • There is a WOLFcon Folder in the Acquisitions SIG. One for 2024 has been created with the information and link for the types of sessions that will be at WOLFcon.

    • One suggestion: Serials App

    • Group discussion on the best way to gather topics ideas.

    • Survey on slack. It would be a good idea to have prompts for people to choose from as well as a way for people to just add ideas in.

    • March 31st is the deadline to submit ideas.

    • It’s hard to know this far ahead. Maybe put us in for a couple of acquisitions slots and we can take more time to come up with the ideas.

    • Lisa Smith, Mich State 12:27 PM
Maybe a presentation on upcoming flower release features

    • What acquisition topic areas are you most interested in discussing?

    • Kristin: Planning group trying to get ahead of this earlier because some can’t get approval to travel until the agenda is out.

      • Have used a retro board as a way to vote on ideas.

    • Sara: Set a theme for a session, then have different people present on how they handle that. Have a session on ‘claiming' as a topic, then maybe 3 people that present on how they do it followed by discussion. * Claiming just an example. Pick any topic.

    • Julie: Have a general topic of what's new in serials management development. Also, she is asked a lot about why is inventory and receiving searching not as good as inventory searching? Maybe a session on expectations on searching…

    • Joe Reimers (EBSCO) 12:33 PM
