Financial activity and overages
The credited value was imbedded in the expended number.
Implemented the credited value as a separate value.
Question from developers - show as a negative value? What values to show in parentheses? Accounting standard is to show negative values in parentheses.
Net transfers will show in parentheses, for positive or negative numbers. When the number is negative, it is in brackets.
If the cash balance or available balance is negative, it would be shown in parentheses.

Agree with Scott, but we approve and pay in step
Also, we have awaiting payment on summary screen but pending payment on the detail screen should that be consistent
Dennis: Which approach should we focus on?-
Showing parenthesis based on the impact to the budget?
Or
Showing parentheses based on the conditions of the value?

I would expect that () would consistently be displayed based on the specific value and not necessarily the context of the budget. Also, if values are exported in some fashion then retaining the () would be important.
