Changes in request policy

@Anne Ekblad

Presentation and discussion of https://folio-org.atlassian.net/browse/UXPROD-2689

For each type of request allowed in a request policy, user should be able to specify which service points are allowed for pickup (from among the service points that are flagged as pickup SPs in Settings > Tenant > Service points).

Meeting Notes

  • Demo of the Feature

  • Discussion wil be centered around enhancements and extra features

  • How does this work with TLR? It should be accepting the SP of the item the request is landing on.

    • depends on the Request Policy as well

  • Cornelia: an override option would be great to have with the right persmissions - override a request and select a new SP -

    • Susan seconds this

    • Cheyl too

    • At which point do we need to overide? - At save the record?

      • on several points of the process to override impossible kombinations

      • Idea: to have a general override/blank page to pick an choos the kombinations

  • Q: When do we need a a feature that enabels/disables a location for requests temporarly=

    • Claire Hoag in Chat: For temporary closures, we have done that in the past - transferred the pickup location and connected with the patron

    • Tom in Chat: Are discovery layer is a mixture, but the pickup points I believe are cached.

  • Please feel free to contact Anne about enhancements
