Meeting Notes
Angela Zoss, convener of Reporting SIG, facilitated a discussion about reporting in FOLIO.
MetaDB is making steady progress as a data platform and we are working on updating the queries so people can switch over easily from LDP.
Query Builder should appear in Kiwi.
There are test versions of both LDP and MetaDB. Reach out to Nassib on Slack to get access to live hosted MetaDB. Also, documentation is available on docs.folio.org.
The Reporting SIG is aiming towards releasing queries alongside FOLIO releases.

Access to the LDP app in your environment depends upon hosting. Your hosting partner will need to stage a separate LDP instance, which duplicates data to non-operational database, and enable the modules.
There are really good reasons for that you know you don't want to run really large reporting queries against your operational database. So, so the LDP database duplicates the folio data to a non operational database.
In Resource Access there are problems with user summaries not getting rebuilt, patron block information. There is a need for a report to list patrons with blocks.
If institutions have other query needs, please pass along to reporting SIG
One site expressed a wish for a gadget to pull the actual cost of an item from the purchase order and link it to a patron bill.
