Data sync
Reviewed the data sync spreadsheet
Some use cases need further clarification
Generally, sync needs to be <5 seconds or faster, with some exceptions
Dashboard
Examples that are more than just a list of stuff
Like a bar chart, etc.
Useful to have a “state of the system”
What needs to be done at this desk right now
Circulation traffic, request traffic, hourly by the last week
Two way widgets from other systems like libanswers / libinsight for reference stats
The number of use cases can’t be too broad, ability to create your own widgets Cornell
Need for both default widgets and ability to create widgets and share them
A blank box widget that can accept widget code etc from libanswers, etc,
Andrea perfect should not be enemy of the good, let the people working on this now get that work done
We also need to acknowledge that we need POs and resources for more important features like three part item state, etc.
Need to have another discussion about prioritization at an upcoming meeting
Core functionality did we define for RA
Look at roadmap as well
