From Ann-Marie Breaux to Everyone 12:18 PM I hate to make this suggestion, but might it be helpful to have a new field in the POL that has choices for 1) update POL bib data when linked Instance (if only 1) bib data is updated, 2) update POL bib data when linked Agreement line (if only 1) bib data is updated, or 3) do not update POL bib data automatically if linked title's bib data is updated.
From Virginia Martin to Everyone 12:21 PM I strongly dislike the idea of adding an additional field to POLs I definitely hear where you are coming from and agree that it is something that would be nice to have more control over than auto-update or not, but there are so many complex fields that we have to pay attention to in POLs already.

From Ann-Marie Breaux to Everyone 12:26 PM Maybe - if we have a setting, I'm nervous users would still want an option to override the default setting in an individual POL, similar to the Inventory Interaction default setting. If a title in a POL is updated, and there is an Open invoice or an Approved/Paid invoice linked to the POL, does that trigger any automatic changes in the Invoice line description? I'm hoping No.
