Circulation: Implementers Brian Arrigo and Brooks Travis

Fixed Due Date Schedules

  • Found at: Settings > Circulation > Loans > Fixed Due Date Schedules
  • Brooks Travis demonstrated creating fixed due dates.
  • Fixed due dates- Term based due dates that allows you to define a specific due date for items checked out during a specified date range. Date from (start date); Date to( end date); Due date( date you want the items to be due if checked out during the date from and date to date range)
  • Schedules are in the order in which they are created.
  • Should ideally sort by dates versus by date created
  • Circ rules do not need a fixed due date schedule

Staff slips

  • Found at: Settings > Circulation > General > Staff slips
  • Brooks Travis and Brian Arrigo demonstrated staff slips
  • Hold, transit, request delivery and pick slips are prepopulated in the system. You can edit the description and tokens.
  • Hold slips- physical slip for any item awaiting pickup form service desk (recall, hold or page)
  • Pick slips (Some colleges have this and some don’t)- where are they supposed to be; tokens blank on notices

Bugs Identified in demos:

Editor is not what you see

Where pick slips supposed to be- Some environments have all staff slips and some don’t

Tokens not showing up on the pick slips
