  • Support for modules that do not have a PO, etc. Potentially affects issues of importance to MMSIG (e.g., OCLC single record import, etc.)

  • PC functions and strategic vision/initiatives

  • Role of Inventory presentation/discussion postponed

  • Reminder: Laura is still seeking a new convener (or new co-conveners) for MM SIG.

  • Reminder: Laura is also seeking volunteers to rotate the note taking duties

  • Ann-Marie: Question from developers about cancelled system control number (035 subfield $z).
    --Do we want these displayed in the instance record? (If you don’t display them, you can’t index them). Group conclusion: Yes, we do want them, and also to display them.
    -- How could we display them?  Group conclusion: This could be a later UX issue.   
    -- Also, is it OK to leave them as labeled “Cancelled System Control Number”; or do we have to distinguish them as cancelled OCLC numbers?  Group conclusion for now:  We don’t need a specific field to contain cancelled OCLC numbers.
