2019-03-07 Metadata Management Meeting notes

•  Holly gave update on gap analysis feature ranking (only going to implementers), is preparing spreadsheet, we should hear about it and receive link from our representative
• There will be video demos added ; Harry talked about Epic
• Big news: there will be a FOLIO meeting June 17-19^th  in Crystal City,  subgroup of PC starting to work on agenda and who needs to attend.  More details to come. 

• Some went to Technical Council meeting to discuss CODEX ; nothing is going to change for now ; vision will be reconsidered in light of the questions.   Other SIGs need to be consulted.   More discussion will take place about role of the CODEX.
• Subgroup updates: MARCCAT:  Today talked about MARC validation and quality assurance features that could be developed in MARCCAT, and the need to start to look at the user interface for MARC holdings.   Will create a spreadsheet to weigh in on what is a priority.
• Team members interested in the status and feel importance of workflow app.  Would like that to be brought up again.
• Aaron working on organizing mapping of archive data to inventory.
