Announcements | Daylight Saving Time starts on March 10 in the US, which will make meetings one hour earlier for those in Europe, until you make the change on March 31. Only some parts of Australia participate in DST, so please adjust accordingly. The inaugural meetings of the Linked Open Data in FOLIO subgroup will be Friday, February 23. Two meetings are being held at different times on the same day to accommodate the diversity of time zones. Focus will be on defining the charge and how the group will communicate/schedule future meetings. First option: Topic: FOLIO Linked Data Subgroup Kickoff 1 Second option: Topic: FOLIO Linked Data Subgroup Kickoff2 Submission deadline for WOLFcon 2024 is March 31st. Please add MM related session ideas to a Google spreadsheet, link see WOLFcon 2024 Poppy CSP#2 expected to be released 1 March 2024
Volunteers are once again needed to help with MM-related documentation. Reach out to Laura E Daniels (Laura Daniels) or Lisa Lorenzo (added by Laura) | |

PC updates | Charlotte Whitt | New serials app functionality presented by Owen Stephens: Presented for the PC last year, and this presentation today for the PC, is seeking approval of the app for the Quesnelia release. The work is funded by GBV and Cornell. [Insert link to the presentation]. The aim is to present and get approval by TC on 2/26/2024. Two new modules:
The serials management app is adding new functionality related to serials, and then interacting with existing functionality in Orders and Receiving. Receiving is then interacting with Inventory:
The subgroup on Serial Management meets every other Friday. The PC approved the new app. Roadmap and Prioritization update - Martina Schildt presented a new prioritization tool. See wiki page for Acquisition/Resource management implementers - 136 topics. In Jira the features all have the label acq-topic. In Jira institutions can vote for the features. The little thumbs upp hand. To be tested during Quesnelia. FOLIO Roadmap with 18 month outlook, with links to additional useful documentation. Another example is Aquisitions Road Map Jira Dashbord. Next step: mainstreaming the process around updating the dashboards. Hopefully it can be part of the regular updates done by product owners and others; e.g. adding the appropriate labels on features and stories. Review of Evaluation Process for New FOLIO Functionality - this topic we didn't get to. Update will happen in Slack |
BELA (Bulk Edit and Lists App) | Jennifer Eustis | 2024-02-20 BELA Meeting Notes. This week's meeting continued the discussion on how to handle errors versus warnings and how to handle bulk editing instance notes. For the instance notes, this proposal was presented. Because of the implicit relationship between instances and srs marc, there is an added layer of complexity. The proposal is to have a srs marc and a folio instance bulk edit. We need your feedback on this proposal. Questions

Data Import Working Group | Jennifer Eustis | 2024-2-21 Data Import Subgroup meeting. CSP 2 will be released on 3/1/2024. CSP 1 is out and has the fix for action profiles being unlinked when editing them. CSP 2 will have the fix for unlinked action profiles on migration. MODSOURMAN-970 was converted from a bug to a new feature . This is for cancelling a job. The reason for the change is that this requires a re-visioning of the architecture. To see updates on what was discussed in the meetings, consult the Data Import Implementers Topic Tracker. |
