Onboarding document for new SIG Members - Please feel free to comment and let me know if something is missing or should be different

PC announcemnets:

  • Roadmap group proposal (due tomorrow)

  • priorization votes for each institution

  • TC-Report: Mike Gorell steps down as chair (he is in community consil now)

  • PO-Report:

    • messaging between apps; Cross-App Funktionality

    • Bug fest starts today

    • all PO documentation will be on the wiki from now on

    • Code of Conduct available on wiki and Peter Murray will put out a call for Community support volunteers

    • WOLFCon will be vitual  (01 - 03 June 2021)

      • look out for call of topics

  • Jana vaccation: 8th, 12th, 15th April 2021

  • who wants to take over as convener for these three dates?

  • 5th is Easter Monday and a national Holiday in Germany we will cancel this date.

Thoughts on additional stories:

  • make options configurable in settings

    • feedback: seems sensible

    • Brooks will make the changes to the stories

    • Cornelia: could it be an extra feature as a thin thread?

      • It will get split up, so it can be developed earlier

Brooks will put together some test cases for this

  • Is there an update on the Honeysuckle Patron notices documentation? @Darcy Branchini

  • David B.: Bug: it is currently possible to edit/change the item Barcode while it is on loan

    • Brooks: I think there could be a UI-only feature to catch that.

    • Brooks will reach out to Charlotte about it

    • expected behavior: it should not be possible to change the barcode, item state, ... if in a protected state like 'on loan'

    • it should be logged as well - like a barcode history

      • Is th Circ log the right place for a history?
