Discussion of Tasks of the Reporting SIG

• we want to interact more closely with the developers, even starting before development

• we want to compile a list of reports, remove redundancies in the Master Spreadsheet

• we need all reports in the Spreadsheet, but a more high level document is helpful to interact with the developers; define a minimum number of predefined reports

•  we need to be able to write reports ourselves and share them with others ; no system is capable of have all reports canned and ready to use (predefined)

• for this, we need to have access to the data, i.e. to the Reporting Database.

• question about real time data: we also need to have access to real time data for some reports.

• want to compile data fields we need ; want to make a first serve in designing the Reporting Database

• next step should be to have developers in the SIG

• PC should aks questions, what are they looking for from us ?
