UIU-1778 (Create UI perms for departments) | Patty | Typically departments come from user feed. Maura asked why we would need create/update/delete permissions? Because not all libraries will use a central feed. Some may want to input them with the UX. Department will be part of extended information. SIG was in favor of this ticket getting worked on. | |
| UXPROD-1015 (boolean search for users) | Patty | The JIRA ticket notes that this syntax has already been built into eHoldings, so we said we were in favor of leveraging that in Users. Another developer team may produce "Elastic searching," which might make this obsolete. SIG still in favor of implementing this code in Users, in case Elastic searching takes a while to be developed. | |

Misc Notes: The number of custom fields has not been limited. (...although there were supposed to be limits...the coding has not been completed to impose limits) The 'department' work has been started by the Spitfire team. They are also scheduled to work on the additional external IDs. |
