Morning Glory progressReps/Marcia

Discussion of how things are going... Due date for MG? Goal is to have something out before the release (Aug 22) and then update as needed.

Erin - For RA biggest chunk of work is the introduction of title-level requesting; complex workflow that requires more logic from FOLIO; Marie from Chalmers did first pass documentation; covers how it works, continuing to work on it, but still aspects that aren't well understood. Also working on Bulk edit app; one mistake thinking it was just user app changes, but also changes for items. Need to pull info from different places (e.g. JIRA, Slack) for documentation; will probably put a version 1 out and then update. Couple of smaller updates.  Also updating Tips & Tricks page.

Emma Gollner (Bulk edit); going well, end in sight; She is working with Magda  and will be able to finish now that she is running tests.

Axel/Sharon (Reporting): Documentation done, Pull requests haven't been merged; Marcia will follow-up with Ian. The new update is tied to the MG release so good to go.

Laura (Inventory, MarcEdit) - Lucky that the focus is mostly enhancements; in pretty good shape for now.

Dennis (Data Import/Export) - out ill; now catching up; documentation for Lotus has been reviewed by the WGs; don't believe the features are expanding in a way that requires more documentation; hopes to be able to sign off by the release of MG.

Emma Raub (ERM/eUsage)- it will be done by August 22 MG release date; started poking around, but should be complete; Annika working on eUsage related documentation that Marcia is going to have ported over.

Christine(Users) - nothing significant for users documentation; will run by UM SIG to verify; this time around searched the JIRAs as best she could; did some review of Bulk edit as well.

Question for Ian - Main is our working space; once we like it; it's cloned under the release name; maintain the branch for anything that changes specifically for a release;  anything added to the branch itself is automatically published;  Erin observation; defaults to Honeysuckle when you to subdomains; it should default to latest release.

Julie (Acquisitions) - In really good shape, but it took a lot to get there. 35 JIRAs to comb through. Observed a lot of retooling, moving functionality around, accordions to help users see things better; glad she started early.

Marcia encourages reps to scope the work for each release early.

From 17th, Ian out next two weeks; Peter Murray may be able to help out. Anything available on the 16th or earlier Ian will take care of it. If Peter can't, it will wait until 29th.

WOLFcon Session Ian Walls /Erin Nettifee

Now scheduled for Wednesday, August 31, 7:30am EST/ 1:30pm CEST

Settled on doing a show and tell; here's what we've done; what questions do you have for Docs WG.

Dennis suggests getting feedback on what the Documentation landing page should be.

Laura also suggests getting feedback on Platform Essentials.

Erin and Ian will work on agenda + slide deck. Erin can start a slide deck; asked Marcia to reuse a PC update.  Ian facilitate in person; Erin and Laura will help virtually.

Marcia out August 16-28th.Â
