• Held two dedicated FYRO discussion sessions so far (May 24th & June 11th) & also included FYRO Q&A as part of meeting agenda whenever possible since this is a major and very important task Acquisitions folks engage in every year at the end or the start of a new fiscal year and there have been lots of questions regarding FYRO posted in Acq SIG Slack channel or raised in Acq SIG meetings

• Joe Reimer led a series of meetings focusing on cleaning up and prioritizing feature backlog jiras (will continue until Joe got all the information he needs and the prioritization goal is achieved.  The series of meetings started May 21st)

• Dennis Bridges presented Finance hierarchical funds/groups overview mockups and sought feedback (May 28th)

• Conducted Routing Lists UAT (from June 10th - June 14th)

• Joe Reimer will review "Review "The abitity to import fund updates via csv file in order to bulk edit funds" UXPROD-199 in our June 18th meeting

• Joe Reimer will review Routing Lists UAT in June 18th meeting

• It's particularly helpful when our POs provided info on what they'd like to discuss ahead of time, so the topics can be posted on meeting agenda before the meetings take place

• App Interaction discussed whether or not Material type should be optional (2024-06-03).

• App Interaction discussed Advanced Search in Inventory (2024-06-12)

• We also discussed (2024-06-17) how we can best serve as a resource for development in FOLIO, in preparation for our slot at the PO meeting on June 26th.

Upcoming meetings:

• We'll be reflecting on the PO meeting (2024-06-26) and extending our meeting calendar based on that discussion, as well as talking about BELA UAT (2024-07-01).

Documentation Working Group

Quesnelia Documentation was released including the FOLIO terminology page.


The Documentation Working group welcomed new members Aaron (Settings > Tenants) and Nadja (ERM comparisons together with Lisa). In addition there will be a new writer for eUsage.


The WG talked about the accepted session for WOLFcon 2024 and discussed tests of Docsy upgrade (Theme of https://docs.folio.org/docs/) as well as supporting our onboarding process.

The ERM SIG meeting was cancelled.

The Agreements Local KB Subgroup discussed an implementers topic on showing the e-resources with their tags in the accordion element „E-Resources in package“ on package level.

The eHoldings Subgroup discussed the follwoing topics:

• UIEH-1419: eHoldings package-title (resource) view: display Proxied URLClosedPreview

• UIEH-1388: Incorporating cost or price information from FOLIO acquisitions records (Orders and/or Invoices)ClosedPreview

Open Access SIG

Meetings are held monthly. 

SIG met with openCost project (https://www.opencost.de/en/) which aims at creating a technical infrastructure that allows to comprehensively record all costs involved in scientific publishing and subsequently make them freely accessible by means of standardized interfaces. The aim is to support openCost schema and data export as far as resources are available.

Leipzig is currently experimenting to make Open Access data available via Lists app.

Further tests integrating Open Access in metaDB.

Reporting SIG

• Reporting SIG meeting structure move to a 4 times/month schedule at 11am ET Mondays, alternating between business, reporting development, and reporting training topics starting in July 2024.

• A subgroup of the Reporting SIG is working on reporting topics to present at WolfCon 2024.

• attempt to build a Eureka platform on a local cluster. This has been halted for two weeks now because of local conferences/workshops. Will resume this week.

Workflow SIG

The Workflow SIG has reviewed the Import/Export process for workflows as created by the Aggies team.  This includes a standard file format for exported data, as well as UI components for doing the data import.  This will facilitate easier sharing of workflows between FOLIO libraries, as well as distribute testing/debugging, and allow for off-site workflow backup processes/management.
