• Questions about process:

  • Fork a repository: Do we want to them to copy all branches?

  • Sync fork? Needs more explanation?

  • Pull request from main? repository? Needs more explanation.

  • Can we use one pull request for changes in different sections? Yes, it's technically possible but best practice is to submit one pull request for each change.

• Suggestions for Miro board:

  • color legend

  • higher resolution for larger text

  • Add step to include initial editing in the shared Google Drive: FOLIO Documentation Work Group.

Katharina: Topic documentation archive + navigation in the different releases still open. Collecting information process ongoing. Finding a new place for "Install FOLIO", e.g. in GitHub

Laurence: (UX improvements to docs.folio.org - navigation, landing pages and search)

• Some significant features are not available in test site (search: functionality, false positives, landing page/navigation to anchors).

• Group suggests that search functionality takes priority over small screen improvements.

• Many like the new look and organization of the test site.

Google docs permissions

Christine

Permissions have changed in the shared FOLIO Documentation Work Group (Google) folder. Christine will reach out to the folder's owner, Harry Kaplanian, on Slack to request access permissions for our group. If we don't hear anything by next week, (8/21), Christine will contact group to problem solve.
