PC: New claiming functionality for sunflower - Claiming App / new App - Reading room access

• Joe Reimers presented on the Claiming app, to be included in the Sunflower release, to be discussed at the PC meeting on 14 Nov. with the result of the vote.
• Reading Room Access app voted on by PC for inclusion in Sunflower.
• Sunflower currently scheduled for end of March - unsure if impacted by Ramsons delay

Bugfest started on Monday, 11 Nov.

Please claim tests!

Martina reported problems with the Requests app preventing tests, being worked on.

Molly reported no issues with testing except a service point issue that she plans to file as a bug due to lack of response on Bugfest channel.

Laurence reported issues with fees/fines and notices. Can do the prep, but not complete the tests. Trying next week.

Reminder to review and update (as needed) the settings related to your apps.

Also good practice to review the glossary for any new terminology that's needed.

Katharina noticed some duplication in numbering, so please check the linked page in this section, but also update the order weights within Github/Google Drive headings to align with desired order.

Proposal for Katharina and Franziska: Move Serials to a subtopic in Resource Management (between Receiving and Additional Topics)

• Number generator - code for integration in apps needs to be updated, so missed Ramsons release deadline (not in Snapshot, Bugfest) - only Settings currently visible, which is pertinent to Serials and Open Access
• In contact with Franziska re: number generator permissions that are relevant to Serials app
• Martina working on documentation for Settings > Service interaction > Number generator
• Will contact writers of Docs for pertinent apps for Sunflower; will also plan to show functionality at relevant SIGs when ready

Eliana

• LDP1 is being retired in May 2025; assumption that institutions have moved to MetaDB
• Removing LDP1 references in Ramsons; use older versions for libraries that still need it

Christine

• Currently behind, but blocking off time in next couple of weeks for updates to meet deadline
• Working on UATs for Bulk edit and Lists, Bugfest testing

Brandon

• Bugfesting, then switching gears to documentation for permissions and locations
• Asked when we should get Ramsons branch in Github → Christine recommends asking Katharina and Julian

Alissa

• Bugfesting, then switching gears to DE/DI updates
• Working with DI Working Group on Documentation gaps, gathering volunteers to help with these gaps
• Might pick Eliana's brain about writing as a subgroup\

Lisa

• Getting ready to start MARC authority/quickMARC updates
• Attending Khalilah's update later today on Ramsons feature

Emily, Emma, Aaron

• Bugfesting, then switching gears

Laurence

• Has some drafts/updates ready to merge
• Need to decide on Reading Room app - where it should live in Docs - possibly between Users/Resource Access, or at the end if lower use
• Mediated Requests is ECS-only for now; need to decide when to document and where it should live

Molly

• Has drafted new additional topics page on invoice adjustments - in PO review, then will present to SIG
• Anticipating no other new pages, but several updates to existing pages

Ramsons public release is planned for Dec 16.

Ramsons documentation deadline as ever 1 week before: Dec 9 is the aim
