 Updates from the Product Council:

• SIG Special Collection: Material dependent, questions, Archival questions, etc. - group will define themselves
• Metadata Management: relation between inventory app and eholding app - Charlotte is in charge, small group will take place at 12 today plus half day workshop in December - 1/2 members from RM SIG wanted (Martina  + Anne-Marie will attend)

Metadata Management and Inventory

• There is growing interest in understanding how electronic content will be represented in the Inventory App. Discussed with PC this morning, and have basic understanding that inventory app will link somehow to e-holdings app, but need to also store local data and manage holdings not in KB. MM SIG will be having a small group half-day online workshop to discuss (time TBA). Also there is a 1.5 hours meeting Friday, November 17 at 12 PM ET,

  • Serials display details
  • Edit screens details

Invoicing

• Dennis presents the invoice prototype
  • Loading of electronic invoices is taken into consideration
  • Discussion about how to deal with adjustments:
    • On top of invoice line or as own invoice line or combination
    • Best way to do pro-rating
    • Different taxes for e-material and print
    • Fixed amounts and percentage needs to be considered
  • Discussion about the design of the invoice lines
  • Best workflows to enter an invoice
    • Use cases: start in the invoice screen - add the necessary lines in a comfortable way - or start at the PO and collect the data before you go to the invoice
    • Both shall be considered
• Next: Receiving screen
• More prototypes or start coding? Coding is already happening from granular level to more complex workflows
• Invoice screen will be published to the general prototype, documentation to wiki page until Monday (Nov., 20th 2017)
• Can invoices (electronic files) be added as attachments to a screen?
  • Good idea: linking or attaching the file? Both will be needed.
  • Sensitive material!
• PC: proposal to discuss central file repository for different use cases: invoices, licenses, contracts, email copies, etc.
