  • Where does the journal data come from? Is it an import from EZB data? How often is it updated?

• When will release be available?

  • with Orchid release; but we release the module and we're not dependent on a Flower release/package; it "just" needs to be installed from hosting provider

Questions from OA Implementers' list:

• Where does the journal data come from? Is it an import from EZB data? How often is it updated?

  • OA comes without any journal data; at Snapshot an the moment just dummy data not for production

  • there is no import mechanism from UI directly

  • one option for import is to use the API (see #learning-api Slack channel)

  • Owen will provide a "first steps" document that cover this issues

  • important future topic; which KB would be apropriate to integrate

  • CP: import button not nessesary; yearly import via API is ok

• Why don't we automatically see the publisher in Journal Details right next to the ISSN? Why do I have to manually chose a publisher in the publication type/subtype/publisher field row above?

  • at the moment publisher is linked to the request, not journal; because you can have a request without any journal; in favor of more flexiblity

  • DOAJ and OA status are automatically populated from journal; info is recorded on request because status can change over time (on the journal); info on request is "fixed"

  • CP: why is publisher not populated also? 

  • ISSN is displayed from journal record (directly); same with person data

  • Owen will check with dev team whether publisher can be part of the journal record

  • a charge is needed; it is possible to link an existing invoice / line or create new ones from charge record directly; which is then created in Invoices app

  • budget linking and paying have to be done in Invoicesapp

  • at the moment Invoices does not support

Demo of task list filter functionality

• checklist is intended to record whether particular checks in the workflow have been done; not to replicate the data within the request

• button to edit checklist filters

• hidden tasks are not required

• filter builder consists of (multiple) filters and within filters (multiple) rules can be set

• filter include attributes of outcome and status, comperator and value

• multiple filters can be combined; default with AND query

• rules within a filter is applied as OR query

• discussion around terminology 'hidden' in check list and 'required' in filter option; which is actually the same

  • filter on "status" will be renamed to "visibility" with values "hidden" and "visible/or not hidden"

• AO: if DOAJ field is manually entered, does check list item "Checked DOAJ" populated automatically; Owen: not at the moment, because check list items are freely configurable and check list items and request fields are not connected
