• Christina Prell: Bavarian Universities decided to go live with FOLIO; including several working groups, also group for Open Access in FOLIO

• Discussion on extra meetings for German and English speaking community to introduce the app (Q&A)

• It is planned to host a "FOLIO Forum" to promote the OA App

• OS: BPC report: Question on Retroactive OA property: proposing to add a yes/no field on requests; does it make sense for articles also?

  • EDS: do not pay for retroactive OA; prefer to pay for First OA publication; maybe use "Published first as Open Access" to make a positive option

  • CP: usually pay for first published in OA; agreed to EDS

  • JH: can also be a reason to deny a request

  • Group discussed and to have this property rather on the charges

  • need a filter to find "OA opt out"

  • PMC: do a lot of retroactive OA en masse, which are not subsequently recorded
