Housekeeping

  • WOLFcon: Is it okay if we use one of the AI sessions on workflows for a discussion on "Record deletion"?

  • There seem to be concerns about the currently proposed approach for implementing instance deletion - planned for Nolana or Orchid

    • have this group discuss and discuss at WOLFcon

Discussion items

  1. Field based permissions

    1. Needs to be specified because can be relevant for development for instance record deletion

    2. Field and action based permissions

Minutes

  • Walked through use cases: Field and action based permissions

  • Started looking at field based permission #6: Specific permission to view field "Birth date"

    • not everyone should be allowed to view birth date

    • but everyone needs to know whether user is of legal age; maybe via checkbox or something similar

    • need to differentiate between view, edit and create

    • view seems to be most important here

  • different use cases might have different solutions

  • differentiate between backend data accessibility and UI

  • Next steps: ask TC for more information on how permissions work

    • check with

      • Raman Auramau, EPAM

      • Marc Johnson, K-Int

      • TC
