Announcements/Updates | There's a link in the notes to a task force update. There is an adjustment to the release schedule - there will be three releases a year rather than 4. An unanswered question - what are we going to call the releases? There was an invitation from Lyrasis to participate in an open source sustainability ILS grant. Peter Murray was going to submit a proposal around the collaboration. There's a PO update from Kate in the minutes. | |
In-app reporting requirements:
| Dennis Bridges | Dennis has been validating whether the in-app reporting requirements have been met. He showed us the ACQ Reporting SIG master spreadsheet, a list of reports that the institutions have identified as needed. The small group was asked to review the spreadsheet to identify which of the reports need to be in-app. In the spreadsheet there is a column: is it important to your institution that this be an in-app report? This will help identify what needs to go into the MVP release. Stephanie is working on being able to export a list of search results. Architects/developers are trying to determine the scope of the work to develop the ability to export records. It's worth defining a feature for that. If running a report off the LDP, the data would be 24 hours old so the thing to keep in mind when identifying the reports that are need to be in-app is how current the data needs to be. As institutions are reviewing, it would be good to validate whether the requirements have already been met. After the review, it would be good to have a discussion. The discussion will be added to the agenda on September 18th. UAT is still running for expense classes. For those who use expense classes, it would be good if you would test and provide feedback. Anne-Marie has been reviewing the invoice fields with the data export subgroup. This would be for loading EDIFACT invoices. Once done, it should provide 80% of the infrastructure for loading MARC invoices. |
