Kiwi/Lotus

  • Still working on updating Lotus release notes
  • Lotus Hotfix Bug created for the Job profile problem (make all matches, then take all actions): was related to item record version; Lotus HF awaiting release
  • Lotus Hotfix Bug for Settings/Data Import panes UI - should be finished next week
  • Kiwi and Lotus Hotfix Bug for Instance version problem (introduced for optimistic locking) - Kiwi and Lotus HF awaiting deployment; cannot be easily tested on BF; meeting today to figure out how to test
  • Kiwi and Lotus Script update for Holdings source accidentally being set to MARC - script has been updated; meeting today to figure out how to test
  • Kiwi and/or Lotus HF needed? 
    • Cannot edit large profile: per Jenn, no HF needed for Kiwi or Lotus
    • Inventory Single Record Import: Overlays for Source=MARC Instances retain 003 when they shouldn't (does not affect Kiwi; release a Lotus HF and fix in Morning Glory; make sure the 001/003/035 behavior is working properly too; affects MARC Bibs, but not MARC Holdings (because no update) and not MARC Authorities (because no 001/003/035 manipulations)); if Lotus Hotfix, do we also need a script to fix 003 (and add 035) for the ones that have been updated in the interim; is the original 001 still in SRS someplace? 
      • Related issue - can edit or add an 003 via quickMARC, but cannot delete an 003
        • Ask Khalilah - why is it exempt from deletion? in quickMARC, the 003 has not been deletable since the very beginning; Khalilah Gambrell will add story for Spitfire to make 003 deletable and non-repeatable (Morning Glory)
      • Should there be a setting for a default 003 - assign per tenant, or option to omit (for tenants like 5C that don't want 003s), then make view only in quickMARC when editing MARC Bibs
        • Talk with Magda about effect on Data Export
        • Talk with Khalilah about quickMARC and the setting
        • Use for MARC Bibs, but not for MARC Holdings (not usually used), and do not change the existing 003 in MARC Authority (since FOLIO retains the external 001 value) 

Morning Glory

  • Morning Glory Folijet and Spitfire planning: dashboard where you can see the current scope and status of Data Import work for Morning Glory
  • Current work:
    • Backend of deleting logs
    • Field protection refinement
    • Flow control (to help Single Record Imports and MARC Authority UI deletes not get stuck)
    • Change Load more to Paginated for View all log screen and View log details screen
    • Started work on Job summary at top of log details screen
    • Question: Bold for file name, title, created/updated has accidentally disappeared - should we put it back?
      • If FOLIO-wide style change to underlines for hotlinks, that's fine - doublecheck with Stripes folks
      • Per Khalilah, likely a style change. Check with Kimie and maybe John C to see if we can make them bold as well as underlined
    • Add a thick blue line between log summary and log lines header row

Agenda topics:

  • Log refinement: finalize a few outstanding questions:
    • See PPT here
    • See Jira feature here
    • Make error details easier to find - stories not yet written - will not be in Morning Glory; how important for Nolana?
      • HOMEWORK: Review slides 9-21: If we want to show more error details on the summary screen (so that user doesn't have to click into the details screen for each error). how could we do that? Several examples of errors from Lotus Bugfest. How could this kind of information be consolidated into something meaningful on the log screen? See comments on last meeting's notes.
  • Check on multiple 856s creating multiple e-access in Instance, Holdings, Item - working OK in general for Kiwi, Lotus, MG? Not working for 5C - do we need a tenant-specific bug Jira? Just checked and it is now working (smile)
