  • WolfCon 2024 

    • Follow up themes/answers to our questions

      • Suggested to join Linked Data, discovery should be discussed more there

        • Somebody from the group could report back?

      • Aspen discovery, will that be integrated with FOLIO? Nobody using Aspen/FOLIO yet that we know.

      • New survey?

        • Not duplicating the survey anytime soon since we still need to work on the findings.

        • We could do a new survey if the community had a specific question.

      • ERM licenses for e-Resources, how can they show in discovery?

        • KB collections vs instances for e-Resources

          • Different people put license information in different places (aka MARC fields/506 vs FOLIO license fields)

            • Catalog Records

            • Discovery Index Records

          • Do a Prototype for instance with attached license terms using soft order linking?

            • Need info/diagram of how these connect

            • Link Resolver proof of concept

        • What are the issues with e-Resource management in FOLIO?

          • Is this part of our group's topic? 

            • ERM subgroups: eHoldings 

            • How to link instance to agreement (thus for licenses)

      • Volume/issue/enumeration, is that solved?

        • EBSCO is working on solving it

        • Still needs to be resolved

      • New edge RTAC solution needed

        • Very positive received from this presentation.

        • Question: how can we work towards this?

          • Working on prototype/proof on concept for RTAC solution, discussed with both EBSCO/VuFind

  • Are we a SIG? Should we submit to monthly SIG report? - moved to next meeting

  • Any additional steps for listed improvements? - moved to next meeting

    • EDS - Customize column labels

      • We would love a set of pre-determined label options: Like Shelf mark vs Call number, Status vs Availability, Holdings info vs Holdings statement, etc. Anyone care to provide comment and suggestions?
