11:30Discussion about the needs of pure discovery systems (like VuFind and Blacklight) vs. learning managment systems (like moodle and sakai)

Because of some participants had no of 'LMS' experiance , it took some time to explain the 'lti' part of 'edge_lti_courses'. After this it was a short step to discover the need of a own simplified 'edge_courses' just as wrapper to 'mod_courses'

  • Is there a need of a own PO for 'edge_lti_courses' and 'edge_courses'?
  • Does 'edge_courses' any extensions, not available in 'mod_courses'?
