RW- I think for all series types, we would want almost everything to display except for control subfields ($0, $w, $7, others?).  I'm also not entirely sure about the volume and if I would want everything at just the main title or if I would want each volume to be listed separately.

AF/TK:

Include: $a, $b, $c, $d, $f, $g, $h, $j, $k, $l, $m, $n, $o, $p, $q, $r, $s, $t, $v

(Exclude: $e, $u, $w, $x, $0, $1, $2, $3, $4, $5, $6, $7, $8)

RA:
hebis will not map MARC 8XX fields to FOLIO's series statement, but a field similar to MARC 490. First element will always be the title statement of the series, not the name of a person, corporate body, congress etc, followed by the ISSN (if available/recorded) and the volume information.

The proposed browse list will have two columns: Series name / title and # of titles with the Series (see rough mockup). What additional information should we include on the Browse series list?

RA:
Series with a large number of volumes will cause long browse lists as each volume will get an entry. The display can get confusing with varying subfields being used within the same series and an alphabetic order of the entries (we would prefer an order by volume).
And a general question: What is the purpose of browsing series and what is the advantage of browsing instead of simply searching for the series by title?
