Leader > does not contain 24 characters 

Displays error message: Record cannot be saved. The Leader must contain 24 characters, including null spaces. 


Leader > change a position that cannot be changed 

Displays error message:  Record cannot be saved. Please check the Leader. Only positions 5, 6, 7, 8, 17, 18 and/or 19 can be edited in the Leader.


Leader > change editable position to an invalid character 

Displays error message:  Record cannot be saved. Please enter a valid Leader 06. Valid values are listed at https://loc.gov/marc/bibliographic/bdleader.html

UIQM-234 - Getting issue details... STATUS


Leader > change non-editable position to an invalid character Upon hitting Save button then the quickMARC will automatically update to valid position value. 
  • Clear previously saved subfield value 
  • No change to MARC tag entered  
  • No change to indicator values entered 

 Action: Show Delete MARC field/row confirmation modal

 

  • Clear previously saved text value except for subfield  
  • No change to MARC tag entered  
  • No change to indicator values entered 


Action: Show Delete MARC field/row confirmation modal 


  • MARC field has an invalid character
Displays error message: Invalid MARC tag. Please try again.
  • MARC row has been saved previously 
  • Then clear all values in MARC tag box 

Displays error message: Record cannot be saved. A MARC tag must contain three characters.

  • Then clear one or two values in MARC tag box 

Displays error message:  Record cannot be saved. A MARC tag must contain three characters.

  • Enter no values 

Action: Record is updated/created and the field is removed
