Context: For the Morning Glory release, we will support Browse contributors. This work will be done BEFORE FOLIO implements Authority control. The below table outlines several use cases to address requirements for browsing contributors that may have the same name OR contributor who may be more than one relator.

JPB: matches my expectations

LD: matches my expectations (the underlying source marc record should not have the same name appearing twice, it should have one author entry with multiple relationship designators)

  • Three instance records: Power of Regret, Drive, and When

  • Daniel Pink is the author of all three titles

  • Daniel Pink is also the narrator for the book Power of Regret

JPB: matches my expectations (and my preference to collapse into one result for multiple relator types rather than separate results for separate relators; I will prefer to narrow down on relator types using filters rather than separate results)
