- Import a MARC bib record via OCLC Worldcat
- Setup a z39 target profile for OCLC Worldcat
- Go to Settings > Inventory > z39.50 target profiles > OCLC Worldcat
- Enter details
- Enter authentication: 100473910/PAOLF
- Find a OCLC Worldcat record to import
- Go to https://www.worldcat.org/
- Search for a book (e.g. Stone Cold Steve Austin or Khalilah Gambrell... seriously you will find results
)
- Copy OCLC number
- Import a MARC bib record
- Go to Inventory app
- On the second pane > Click on Actions dropdown > Select import
- Choose the OCLC z39.50 target profile
- Paste the OCLC number
- Import
- Setup a z39 target profile for OCLC Worldcat
- MARC authority records? Go to Library of Congress Authorities
- Go to https://authorities.loc.gov/webvoy.htm
- Click Search Authorities link
- Select a Search Type
- Hit Begin Search
- Click on Any result with the button Authorized or Authorized Heading
- Click on the Authority Record link
- Click on the Heading (1XX) link
- See MARC Display
- At the bottom of the record, you will see an option to download the record.
- OR use any of the below attachments for files additional MARC authority files
- meeting_name.mrc
- name_title.mrc
- subject_topicalterm.mrc
- uniform_title.mrc
- corporate_name.mrc
- geographic_name.mrc
- 100_MARC_authority_records.mrc
