We have 3 new organizations that have expressed interest in becoming FOLIO members: 

  • TU Munich  (Supporting)
  • CRL (Center for Research Libraries)
  • University Library FAU Nürnberg-Erlangen  (Supporting)
  • MoU from July 1, 2022

Final approval for MoU FY22

Review and provide final approval for this year's MoU

  • Introduction of "FOLIO Advisory Group" -  number of seats depend on participation level
    • Conversation between the FOLIO leadership and the management levle of the FOLIO Members of a certain level
    • Ensure a proper organisation of this group - started by CC chair
  • Clarify, that membership fees are the major source for FOLIO infrastructure
  • Automatic renewal just until any changes are requested
  • Question: opportunity to pay for more than one year at once? 
  • How do we manage the benefits in regard to free WolfCon tickets?
    • FOLIO is paying the tickets to OLF - possible in 2022?
      • Change to 5 / 3 / 1 free seats
  • Action item: add more comments / input to the document  - Mike G. will take care in finishing this up.
  • Goal: finish MoU by March 21, 2022 
Status on Membership Drive

EBSCO approved letter to existing members.

Material being finalized (attachments) this week - being sent by the FOLIO Officers. Will elicit assistance from keven lw for our members in China.

 Update on Website Mockups/ work

  • Introduction 
  • Action item: register and comment on the web page
  • Team has done very good work - many thanks to EBSCO
  • Goal: publish web page mid of April 2022


Treasurer update


  • AWS  costs 14.000 $ /month until now
  • Increase to 25.000 $ / month is expected and even more
  • To cover that costs it is right now not possible to cover free WolfCon tickets
  • Because of these increasing costs FOLIO cannot offer the quantity of free WOLFCon tickets that were in the original membership levels.  See notes under the MOU discussion.
  • We need an update from Peter Murray, how those costs are developing
