Brief Announcement - Michigan State goes live in a few days. 

  • Go - Live scheduled for tomorrow 

  • Plan is to start loading MARC authority records into MARC authority app - TBD 

    • Theo to load LC records

    • Lisa to load non-LC records ~ 3,000 records 

  • Will be the first library to use MARC authority app in production 

Note: Create a short video for updating MARC authority records (Ann-Marie/KG) 

Action item: @Lisa Robinson will send a use case to Ann-Marie/KG 

Development update 

qM subgroup - Approves proposed changes. Next up = MM SIG

Potential solution to the literal $ issue

  • Folks not fans of separating code from value especially if it means more clicking 

  • Prefer $$ as way to indicate literal $ 

  • What if we need to express two dollar signs?> possibly enter $$ $$ 

  • Next steps

    • KG to speak with Spitfire dev, Ann-Marie and Magda regarding impact to DI and DE
