For the questions ...

1. General question: How should the records identified by each query be acted upon?

For example, searching the statistical code. For a search of statistical code for UM Retention, I want to make sure that all the items have been withdrawn. Here the action would be to update the item status. For searching instances that are for eResources with one holdings record and multiple item records, then the action would be to delete the extra item record since for us it should be a 1-1-1 relationship between instance-holdings-item. Searching for location would mean updating that location in the holdings record or removing the temporary at the item level.

1. By suppression of instance records do we mean Staff suppress or Suppress from discovery?

I think I would want the ability to be able to do one or the other or both. Sometimes I run a LDLite query for our instances marked as delete which should be staff suppressed and suppressed from discovery and over time there are variations on that theme that we fix up.

1. How do you define local holdings?  Holdings with permanent or temporary location associated with a specific library?

Local holdings are holdings statements that include information on coverage such as year, volume, enumeration. The LHR or local holdings records process for us only concerns our print serials where we need to export marc records that have this information for a selected subset of print serials and then we send this marc file to OCLC. Some of our print serials are in the general and special collections and we need to take information found in the holdings records and instance from print serials in our general collections.

1. Should search by statistical code be available on each inventory record level?

This would be amazing to have.

1. Is the search by barcode/uuid/hrid just by one barcode or multiple?  How this relates to uploading a file with identifiers?

Search by barcode would be multiple and this does relate to being able to upload a file with identifiers. I realize that some of these searches are complex and are more appropriate for a tool like LDLite where we can get a list of identifiers to act on.

1. How do you determine that the instance is for eResource?

For us here, we can use the marc field 338 or the instance format computer – online resource. We are careful to make sure all our eresources have this. However, other schools may have other practices such as using the Holdings Type field in the holdings record.

1. How would you identify student worker?

I think we have user groups (undergraduate and graduate).

About "Search for student workers" and Jennifer's question, "How would you identify student workers?" I'm assuming the intent of this bulk edit query is to manage permissions for student workers as they graduate/leave library employment, etc. Or is it something else?

Student workers (and library staff) are assigned permissions to conduct specific tasks in FOLIO and can be identified by these permissions. In Poppy, users with assigned permissions can be identified in Settings > Users> Permission Sets.

Hi Magda, Sorry, I may have added above when I should not have. Please note that I expanded a tiny bit Instances #3 above and then also inserted a new #3 under Holdings above. Sorry if that is not what you wanted. …. Here is the thing the use cases that I was trying to get included:
No matter on which record type (Instance, Holdings, or Items) it would be terrific to be able to query on/identify records that have a specific Electronic Access > URL Relationship type. Just that by itself, but also in conjunction with something else in the same record, like a specific Link text, etc. So the query may be something like: holdings.electronicAccess.urlRelationship==“Resource” AND holdings.electronicAccess.linkText starts with “Request”
