Cancel a request (alternate path to fulfillment)Patron access account info and initiates a cancelation for their requestcomputer

DCB will regularly poll FOLIO and (based on what I am not yet sure) determine that the request not longer exists. DCB will then cancel the request in the lending library system IFF the item has not yet been put into transit.

"Page" is a type of FOLIO request.

The same or separate pick list as local transactions? There isn't a choice in FOLIO so we need to use the same template as local circulation pick slips. The only template data we may not have is call number and department and in that case, let the fields blank.

Using the pick list to locate the item, staff collects the item and places it on a book cart.non-computerN/A

Repeat the above until the staff's pick list is exhausted.non-computerN/A

Staff will move the book cart to a designated circulation FOLIO checkin station. non-computerN/A

FOLIO checkin returns with a prompt to produce an in-transit slip(?). The transit slip contains information needed to deliver the item to the pickup location.computer

This could be an opportunity to envision what it would look like if we integrate directly into a courier's logistics system. This is a post go-live opportunity.

Ship the item to the designated pickup location

Courier services track items in bags and/or bins so that on receipt, they simply scan the bag/bin barcode and all associated items are checked into the courier service system.

There is no integration with FOLIO or DCB and the courier systems.

Standard circulation configuration capabilities for intra or interlibrary loan. A nifty configuration design makes it possible.

Staff places the item on the holdshelf with user defined alias (or patron last name if PII is not really a concern) printed on paper and inserted into the book as a book mark.non-computerN/A

Patron is notified of the item's status and the number of days it will remain available on the hold-shelf without returning the item to the owning librarycomputer

Notice templates can be incorporated into local or kept separate.
