Goals
- Confirm core elements needed to allow interoperability with packages in ERM and e-Holdings
- Decide on terminology to disambiguate "Packages" in the ERM context from "Package Records" (broader category)

We reviewed the Package record elements in the Notes document with ERM and e-Holdings Packages in mind as well as Inventory Package use cases. We added some new elements/type pairings, as well as looking at which elements should be required and which should be repeatable. There are currently some elements in Inventory Package records that do not correspond (as far as we know) to elements in ERM and e-Holdings Package records.
A less confusing name is still needed for Inventory Package records. Laura will make up a shortlist of options and set up a poll to choose a term. Suggestions include Grouping Record and Container Record. The name should not be one that is used elsewhere in FOLIO or the library landscape with other meanings or connotations.
