The meeting began at 11:00 AM Eastern/10:00 AM Central.
Agenda
1. Review notes from June 4 call at https://folio-org.atlassian.net/wiki/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=3051765. No changes suggested.
2. Vote for FOLIO SC&A pop-up session at SAA in D.C. in August at https://www2.archivists.org/am2018/attend/call-for-pop-ups/Vote. In addition to the FOLIO SC&A pop-up session, Pablo, Sarah, and Aaron T. said that they had voted for the ePADD session. Pablo and Sarah said that their institutions have already started working with ePADD; Aaron T. said that Auburn has spun up a test instance but has not started working with it yet.
Pablo, Sarah, and Aaron T. remarked on the fact that the SAA voting page for the pop-up sessions does not require a login or authentication of any kind, meaning that anyone can vote, perhaps multiple times. It is to be hoped that the organizers at SAA do not see suspiciously high vote counts for (ahem) certain proposals.
3. Keep working on the open document for SAA at https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1bHtwQVj6P-689aLwIM-ITwlLdEcctQla. LC and Duke have contributed to this document. Aaron T. said that he will add information for Auburn. Pablo will focus on Radcliffe, although he noted that the archives situation at Harvard is extremely complex, with dozens of more or less independent repositories scattered across the institution. Sarah said that the situation at Yale is only somewhat less complex, but that the landscape at Duke is simpler. Aaron said that the situation at Auburn is extremely simple: there is just one special collections department and university archives.
4. SC&A white paper for FOLIO SIGs. Still to do.
5. Other business. Aaron T. said that he is willing to continue serving as the SC&A WG's convener through the end of this year but that he intends to step down at that point.
The call ended at 11:20 AM Eastern/10:20 AM Central. The next call was scheduled for Monday, June 18, at the same time and Zoom address.
