• Discussion: data loader - sole purpose → move json records (that have been transformed from previous system) into FOLIO. The transforming of local records to the required json format is the responsibility of each institution.

  • We need to be able to migrate all data from existing systems into our sandbox instances by July 2019.

  • We need to define things that make it manageable for us. Defining what we need = we have some guides for acceptance testing.

  • We need to abstract requirements out so they can apply to other loaders. / Disagreement

  • Select an area we want to load, define it. That is our exercise...do something real...first pass...then adjust.

    • This work can be used as a template for other data loading moving forward.

  • Resources for this?

  • We need to understand what data migration tools will be available & by when. We need clarity. Data loader? Features? Timeline?
