product owner replacement	@Maura Byrne	Maura requested a new Product Owner for the User Management SIG during a recent PC meeting. The request will be discussed at the next Exec. Council meeting We wondered who is documenting our gaps and missing features? Maybe Tania before her assignment ends?

New Users UI Module Release	@Uschi Klute	There is a new release of the Users UI module on the Folio Test server
Discuss Post	@Maura Byrne	Discuss Post: Permissions setup - which permissions to restrict from users → Start thinking in broad terms about what do we absolutely want to restrict 842 permissions in Q1 release! Thinking about permissions needed to perform a function (e.g. checkout→ view patron, maybe update patron, create loan)...trying to keep things as simple as possible Critical: Describe permissions well so we understand what they do & effects Understand how permissions sets are defined. They are supposed to simply permissions "View" Permissions control the display of the Apps. Typical restrictions personal info money (how much we pay for x) Each institution will probably have similar concerns. This group can share best practices. Discussion points: restrict global settings restrict granting permissions how do we restrict settings? restrict override functionality we need a higher level understanding of permissions ACROSS modules & how they fit with each other in workflows REALLY important that permissions are described well! Critical for implementations and help documentation. Permission descriptions have to be fluent & understandable.
