Permissions for managing authority source files:

  • Settings (MARC authority): View authority files

  • Settings (MARC authority): View, create, edit, delete authority files

Users (Profile Pictures)

Two new permissions have been added:

Users: Can view profile pictures - Allows users to view user records and profile pictures on user records (Pictures will also display on the edit screen if the user has permission to edit user records. However the user will not be given options to update profile pictures)

Users: Can, view, edit, and delete profile pictures - Allows users to view user records, view profile pictures on user records, edit user records, and when editing a user record update the user’s profile picture.

 

When profile pictures are enabled, users without either of these permissions will not see profile pictures on user records or in the user edit screen, and the placeholder image will not display on user records without profile pictures.

Settings > Service interaction

Settings (service-interaction): display list of settings pages

will display Settings > Service interaction

Settings (Service-interaction): View number generator settings and use number generators within apps

Settings (Service-interaction): Manage number generator settings and use number generators within apps

View only or Manage permission (view, create, edit, delete) in combination with "display list of settings pages" will display "Settings > service interaction > number generator" and "Settings > Service interaction > number generator sequences"

Number generator functionality in apps are aimed for Ramsons - once functionality is in place to use the number generator within apps users need either Settings (Service-interaction): View or Manage permissions
