Summary
It was followup test run after full regression test during Q2.1 Bug Fest. We retested all test cases that were marked as Failed, Retest, Blocked or Untested in Q2.1 Bug Fest. Small number of defects were created. We didn't encounter any release blocking issues.
Bug Fest notes:
- Bug Fest planning (kick-off) meetings are getting shorter. Everyone is getting comfortable with the BugFest process.Â
- Testers are getting comfortable using Test Rail. It makes it very easy to track and coordinate a test run.
- Loan Policies has been tested because this functional area was skipped during Q2.1 BugFest.
- All defects marked with q2-2019 label has been verified.
- We didn't run into significant performance issues.Â
- Folio Face-to-face meeting was happening at the same time. It made it difficult to to triage defects the same day.
- We didn't any significant test environment issues.
- Overall, system performance was good. No performance defects were logged.
Highlights of the results:
- 13 defects has been logged over the course of 5 days. This is almost 3 times lower than the previous run.
- 6 defects has been closed as "duplicate", "cannot reproduce", or "won't do".Â
- Defects were submitted by 5 different participantsÂ
- Testers logged the most number for defects against ui-users module (4)
- Overall, only a few defects has been filed against each module.
- There were 5 P2 defects. Product owners assigned them to Q3.1 release therefore they didn't block Q2.2 release.
