Where in the Location screen should the remote storage flag go?

• GVSU is a shelving location
• Andrea - separate campus, library, or shelf
• Multiple system locations
• Two locations one server - how do I have two locations with one server
• Accession logic with multiple dematic storages, different settings
• Location mapped to dematic one or two
• Ask cate about location details

Editing a location - in the item or holding record or by Action dropdown or both? What does that look like in FOLIO?

• Yes in item and holding detail records
• No action drop down
• Do you mean to send to remote location 
• Shelf assignment happens in remote storage system
• Logic in api for when item is moved to remote storage in business logic

What happens to items associated with a non-remote location if that location is changed to remote storage?

• I have something on the shelf in the library and we're moving things to storage to make more room
  • Accession to remote storage would happen
• Would have to be made into a new location or
• Rather than expect the system to alter the location it could be reassigned at the batch level
• Do the items go into the accession queue - no, they would pull a list to indicate what needs to be accessioned
• What kind of API makes it easy to put items into the accession queue  

Should we change holding location when item location changes?

• Not for everything
• If we don’t change the holding location outside requests aren't routed
• Holdings become split
