Notes

• It was agreed that initial work/MVP/thin thread will include the following

  • Integrating/working with remote storage locations

  • Accessioning single items/holdings

  • Requesting a remote storage item for circulation

  • Returning an item to remote storage

• Work will start with systems with workflows that begin within FOLIO first (Dematic) and then with workflows initiated by remote storage (Caiasoft)

• Remote storages configuration

  • Entities with more than one facility, deposits into other places

  • Someone coming on in foreseeable future that will need this - 5C?

  • Duke has tenants that interact with Caiasoft but not integrating with FOLIO

  • Tod has seen cases where when this kind of consideration isn't take early in design obstacles come up later

  • Some configurations will be needed in initial MVP - some won't apply to either, general configurations apply to all

• Jacquie will reach out to Caiasoft to confirm their integration/workflow is the only option 

• Tod has some questions about what information gets passed between FOLIO & remote storage that we can address in future meetings

• There will not be a meeting next week on October 1. Next meeting is October 8.
