Agenda items:
eholdings app - Juniper release update - slide deck
Development progress - ERM sprint 116
Agreements/Licenses - Juniper release update - slide deck
Minutes
eholdings app - Juniper release update - slide deck
priorities have changed
Team as asked to develop around MARC
needs to put more emphasis on developing MARC functionality
some updates for Juniper
there is a menu option that allows to default to eholdings search page, Keyboard shortcuts, submit a KB Content inquiry, and there is a link to the EBSCO System status
Usage consolidation settings: ability to enter credentials
additional issues addressed
notes: bullet outline display
eholdings: resolve page wobble issues, pagination issues
usafe consolidation accordion focus issues
Agreements → eholdings plug-in: search tags and access status types for titles
In Iris Release
search within title modal - users can choose a selection filter
title record: notes helper app added
EBSCO Usage Consolidation Inetgration
basic keyboard shortcuts
record accordions reorganization
Development progress - ERM sprint 116
most tasks have been about releasing details
search and sort screens in agreements and licenses - functionality has been added
main search screen and pop-ups were different - there are now the same options for searching
minor UI tasks - will not be in Juniper release
Felix: MARC authority records were mentioned on the wiki page - where is the connection?
Owen: there is no connection - that mention is related to a test file and RTL jest tests; automated tests to test whether the software is working
Agreements/Licenses - Juniper release update - slide deck
minor changes in Agreements and Licenses
counts of populated terms/properties now display in license terms and agreements supplementary properties
in Agreements the supplementary properties accordion is hidden if there is no value set, when it is no primary one
improved error on attempting to link an Agreement to itself
Accessibility issue: on creating a new ERM comparison the focus automatically goes to the name field - it then can be popultaed straight away
expected features not in Juniper
changes to License and Agreement Organization management - that development started
ability to assign multiple roles to one single organization
ability to have multiple vendors for an agreemernt and multiple licensors for a license
ability to define organization roles at a tenant level
ERM title addition/removal feed for discovery services - started
basics are there
needs feedback from consuming services
Local KB Data loading changes and improvements
this is a hard problem, because the focus is on bringing in data from authoritative sources
was not intended to do the metadata management
but there are use cases, where even data from authoritative sources needs correction
support date/time data types for Custom Properties
Add automated tests for UI modules to React Testing Library - started
community moves away from the current approach to the new approach
deadline is September - work and improvements to testing will go on
enhancements for LAS:eR / Folio ERM Integration - started
groundwork has been done
these will all be coming soon
Dashboard
first release of the Dashboard - with focus on ERM
one widget type ("simple search") and 3 widget definitions released (Agreements, Agreement jobs, Licenses)
meets just under 50% of the use cases collected, and over 50% of those that are sepcifically to Agreements and Licenses
it was a huge piece of work - thanks to Jag, Ethan and Gill for making this happen together with Owen
includes now a new piece of functionality: that is the search box as part of the widget

description
received good feedback on the Dashboard
Owen would like to hear about examples of how people will use the Dashboard and the widgets

Oh I like that
Von Owen Stephens an alle: 02:06 PM
Great job on the keyboard shortcuts modal - we currently have the shortcuts, but not the built-in guide yet (Gill has created stories for this)
Von Ian Ibbotson an alle: 02:06 PM
Sorry - the dropdown menu is great
Von Owen Stephens an alle: 02:07 PM
So for Agreements and Licenses you can use the shortcuts but you have to remember them! (and I keep forgetting them)
Von Ian Ibbotson an alle: 02:07 PM
We will be borrowing that menu in several places I think :)
Von Gill Osguthorpe an alle: 02:07 PM
Great to see it implemented!
Von Owen Stephens an alle: 02:09 PM
“wobble” :)
Von Sara Colglazier (MHC/5C) an alle: 02:09 PM
THank goodness
It made using eholdings impossible
Von Owen Stephens an alle: 02:12 PM
Just to say that Juniper has been a challenging release for development as it has come so soon after Iris and I know teams have been juggling lots of issues - so props from me to Khalilah and the team for delivering some key improvements in that situation
Von Khalilah Gambrell an alle: 02:15 PM
Thanks all
Von Sara Colglazier (MHC/5C) an alle: 02:16 PM
Khalilah, I should know this probably but is there a short cut page that I can get to now on the wiki or somewhere?
Von Khalilah Gambrell an alle: 02:24 PM
@Sara. There is not an updated page. But this feature outlines the baseline shortcut keys that each app must implement.
We will add more baseline shortcut keys AND each app can implement app specific shortcut keys too.
oops here is the feature - UXPROD-2991: Implement baseline shortcut keys for acquisitions appsClosed
Von Khalilah Gambrell an alle: 02:30 PM
Like Owen stated before, Juniper was a short and tough release. Right on the heels of the Iris release.
Von Sara Colglazier (MHC/5C) an alle: 02:31 PM
Thanks, Khalilah!
Von Felix Hemme (ZBW) an alle: 02:42 PM
Exciting
Von Felix Hemme (ZBW) an alle: 02:52 PM
+1 to have a way to suppress accordions from edit view
Von Hartnett, Eric J an alle: 02:59 PM
Thanks, Owen
