eUsage
Product description
The eUsage app allows you to manage usage data reports for electronic resources.
The core library tasks of acquiring, cataloging and making information accessible increasingly relate to e-resources, especially e-journals and e-books. Continuous price increases, especially for journals, make a complete supply impossible for financial reasons. In order to make the best possible use of the limited budget, a comprehensive usage analysis of e-resources is an important part of the evaluation process. Usage statistics provide information on how the resources are used and are helpful in deciding whether a license should be extended. With the eUsage application for FOLIO, we want to collect COUNTER usage statistics and non-COUNTER reports from numerous providers in order to evaluate the e-resources.
